Riata was created in 1957 by late founder Tommy Maier. She has been with Riata for 40 years.
Starting as a student and becoming one of the original trick riding performers in the late 1970s.
Riata is fully operational and is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization. It is a mentorship and empowerment program which utilizes horses and ranch values to build character and confidence. The Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls perform at various events across the US and around the world. Focus Accounting Service has provided their consulting service as needed.
